England‘s Under-17 side got their final European Championship group game against Holland off to the perfect start this afternoon, with exciting Manchester City youngster Jadon Sancho finishing off a lovely team move.
The junior Three Lions needed just a point from their latest tie in Croatia to seal top-spot in their group and secure a mouth-watering quarter-final against the Republic of Ireland.
City midfielder Sancho is just 17-years-old, but he completely bossed the previous match in the tournament against Ukraine, and he followed that up with today’s opening goal.
It might not be a stunning 30-yard drive, but it’s tough to deny it’s a pretty tidy team goal.
Just a shame about the celebration, though:

Look out Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Jesse Lingard; it looks like it won’t be too long before you’ll have competition in the Premier League for the most annoying pre-rehearsed celebration routine.
What do you think of England’s chances in the competition?
