Harry Kane has scored his 23rd Premier League goal of the season to give Tottenham a 1-0 lead against Leicester.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have little to play for now that the title race is over, with Chelsea etching their name on the trophy with victory over West Brom last week.
However, despite falling short of delivering silverware for the Tottenham supporters, the players haven’t allowed their performances to drop with Kane netting an early opener this evening.
After a neat piece of play from ex-Bayer Leverkusen forward Son Heung-min, the Korean international found himself one-on-one with Kasper Schmeichel, before sliding the ball to an on-rushing Kane.
Despite appearing to lose his balance as the ball fell to him, Kane showed bags of composure as he prodded the ball into the net:

Tottenham have been toying with their opponents since kick-off, clearly keen to continue their terrific form until the end of the season against the Foxes.
Kane is now level with Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez on 23 goals for the season, only one behind the division’s top scorer Romelu Lukaku.
