Video: Izzy Brown Misses Awful Sitter Early On in Championship Play-Off Final

Izzy Brown missed an awful sitter early on in the English Championship play-off final at Wembley.

The Huddersfield midfielder is expected to provide the majority of the creativity in the team as they battle for a place in the Premier League next season.

And with eight goals and six assists in all competitions this term, you’d expect him to do a lot better with the early chance he got to open the scoring in the game.

Brown was unmarked and set for a tap-in when¬†Elias Kachunga’s cross found him at the back post.

But he somehow failed to get the proper connection with the ball and, instead of putting it into the net, he touched it wide:

If Huddersfield end up losing this game and miss out on a Premier League place, this will be a very difficult one for Brown to see again.

And it will be a disappointing note for the Chelsea man to end his six-month loan spell on.

He’s been very impressive for David Wagner’s men and has proven that he could contribute something for Antonio Conte’s team next season.
