Video: Marouane Fellaini Heads Man United a Step Closer to Europa League Final

Manchester United have taken a giant leap toward the Europa League final, with Marouane Fellaini heading the home side in front against Celta Vigo.

Jose Mourinho’s side sealed a 1-0 victory during the first leg in Spain, with Marcus Rashford scoring a stunning free-kick.

And with United slipping down the Premier League table since that victory, pressure was mounting on the team prior to kick-off.

It’s widely considered they will need to win the Europa League in order to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

However, Belgian midfielder Fellaini has eased the tension at Old Trafford by nodding his team into the lead in the first-half:

Celta Vigo now need to score twice to give themselves any chance on making it to the final in Stockholm.

However, since conceding, the La Liga side have looked increasingly shaken in defence, with United growing in confidence as the half goes on.

Can United score again to secure their spot?
