Video: Martin Keown Makes Strange “Old People Die” Comment About Arsene Wenger

Ex-Arsenal defender Martin Keown made a bizarre comment about Arsene Wenger‘s future this afternoon, as the Gunners get set to face Chelsea in the FA Cup final.

The Frenchman has refused to be drawn on his future in recent weeks, continuously stressing he will reveal his plans after the match against Chelsea at Wembley this afternoon.

As you’d expect, Wenger’s contract situation has dominated the headlines in the pre-game build-up and Keown weighed into the debate on Football Focus.

However, it appeared the former England centre-back was struggling to get his point across as he bizarrely claimed “old people die” when talking about Wenger’s retirement plans:

Antonio Conte’s Chelsea are of course the favourites heading into the Wembley showpiece, having secured the Premier League title with limited fuss this season.

However, with Arsenal’s season scrambling toward a chaotic finish, could the Gunners mount a surprise victory in what could be Wenger’s final game in charge?
