Video: Oliver Burke Scores For Scotland Just 89 Seconds Into Toulon Tournament

Scotland got their Toulon Tournament campaign up and running this afternoon and it took Oliver Burke just a matter of seconds to open the scoring against the Czech Republic.

The RB Leipzig winger was left out of Gordon Strachan’s senior Scotland squad for the World Cup qualifier against England next week so that he had the freedom to express himself fully for the Under-21s and he wasted absolutely no time in setting about that.

With the daunting task of facing Brazil in a few days’ time, it was absolutely crucial the Scots made the most of gaining points from today’s winnable match against the Czechs, and Burke showed his class from the outset.

His blistering pace and searing power on route to scoring this goal only further highlights why he’s such an exciting talent:

What a brilliant goal, eh? Should Burke still be in the Scotland senior squad? Could we do with him against England?
