Patrick Roberts has developed a love for curling the ball into the left corner of the goal throughout his time at Celtic.
And tonight was clear evidence of that as he bagged two brilliant goals as his side beat Partick Thistle 5-0.
The on-loan Manchester City wideman was in from the start as Brendan Rodgers’ team went to Firhill looking for a win that would continue their pursuit for an unbeaten domestic season.
That’s exactly what they got as Roberts inspired the five-goal victory – scoring two alongside goals from Leigh Griffiths, Tom Rogic and Callum McGregor.
Roberts’ first goal was a beauty right into the top left-hand corner in the first and his second came at the end as he curled beyond Marc Ridgers and into the bottom left-hand corner.
His second just hammered home how good he was in the game and how popular a signing he would be if Celtic managed to persuade Manchester City to sell him or allow him to leave on loan for another season:

Roberts now has two more games in his Celtic career before he returns to Manchester City – and he’ll be targeting a treble and an unbeaten season to finish on a high.
He’s made 56 appearances for the Hoops, scoring 17 goals and making 15 assists.
