Real Madrid continued their Champions League final preparations this afternoon… and club captain Sergio Ramos looks raring to go.
Los Blancos could be the first team to ever successfully defend their European crown if they can get the better of Serie A champions Juventus, with pundits clearly favouring Zinedine Zidane’s side.
And it’s not hard to see why, as Madrid captured the La Liga title with a 2-0 victory over Malaga earlier in the month – the first time Los Blancos have won the Spanish league since Jose Mourinho was in charge back in 2012.
Another reason why Madrid will fancy their chances against Juve is that they boast the goal-scoring prowess of Ramos, who’s netted an impressive 10 goals this season.
And Ramos could be set to get his name on the score sheet on Saturday, especially if this tremendous finish in training today is anything to go by:
With Gareth Bale expected to be fit in time for the match at Cardiff’s Millenium Stadium, it’s unclear whether Zizou will pick the Welsh international or the in-form Isco.
However, there’s surely no doubting that Ramos’ finishing will play some role in the outcome of the game.
