If St Mirren manage to assure Scottish Championship safety on Saturday then they’ll a lot to thank Jack Ross for.

Since the former Alloa manager replaced Alex Rae, he’s steadily went about rebuilding confidence in the squad and managed to overturn a big deficit at the bottom of the division to give them a chance at safety.

But fans will also have their players to thank in particular – especially Stevie Mallan.

The Buddies midfielder has been outstanding for the team since Ross took over as boss and his form has just added to a reputation that’s been building since he broke into the starting XI in 2014.
