Whoever is in charge of Arsenal’s social media deserves a wage rise!
The Gunners are one of the most creative when it comes to their output across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube.
They demonstrated that by getting on board with the ‘announce [insert player’s name]’ trend last summer and have now created their own cool way of announcing a new signing this summer by publishing a video which shows a list of players Arsene Wenger has signed in the past – with the first letter of each name combining to spell out the name Kolašinac.
And that’s who they’ve signed – the Bosnian defender who will join the club on a free transfer from Schalke 04.

Once fans spotted the name, Arsenal came out and officially confirmed the signing:

Arsenal fans would have been hoping Arsene Wenger would do his business quickly and, with the season only just being in the bag, a first signing so soon is exactly what they want.
If this is the way Arsenal’s social media team is going to announce each signing then we’re looking forward to the rest of the summer transfer window.
