Bookies Have Slashed Odds on Harry Kane Joining Manchester United This Summer

The odds on Harry Kane joining Manchester United have been slashed by bookmakers today, following reports United could be about to launch a world record bid for the England striker.

United boss Jose Mourinho is known to be desperate to strengthen his attacking options before the start of next season, and the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Ivan Perisic have been strongly linked.

But, earlier today, it was reported by the Mirror that Mourinho was more keen on signing Kane, and was even keener for his paymasters to sanction a bid worth in excess of £100 million.

That has led to the odds calculators at Ladbrokes to alter their prices today, with the 23-year-old much more likely to move to Old Trafford this summer than thought previously, in their eyes at least:

Dropping from 20/1 to just 6/1 overnight is quite a margin, and you’d have to imagine a fair few quid has been staked on Kane making the switch.

But do you think it’ll actually happen?
