This evening, Saturday the 24th of June in Manchester we have a 6 fight bill that now includes super welterweight “Jimmy” Kilrain Kelly fighting, not for the vacant East/West IBF European championship but for the vacant IBF Mediterranean IBF title against Florian Wildenhof. I have no idea how he qualifies to be fighting in both areas of Europe – maybe it’s a BREXIT thing. Anyway, Kelly should be the victor.

Also, tonight in Bingham there are 7 fights including a super lightweight contest between Omari Grant on his debut and the veteran journeyman, Ibrar Riyaz in his 132nd contest! We also have 7 fights at Villa Park in Birmingham.

This coming Friday, the 30th of June in Ohio, USA you can catch the big fight of the week in the lightweight division as Robert Easter Jr faces Denis Shafikov for the IBF title. Easter Jr is well fancied for this and I can see no reason to doubt he will win.

On the same evening and in Derby we have 7 fights including a light heavyweight contest between Cory Jackson and Curtis Gargano where Gargano will, once again, chase his first win whilst in Frome there are 4 scheduled fights.

Closer to home, certainly mine, and in Moodiesburn near Glasgow, Prospect Boxing present super lightweight Martin Taylor up against Alex Bazza with Taylor expected to be the victor as well as super lightweight action between JP McGuinness and Leon Roberts with McGuinness the fancied fighter.

We also have super lightweights Shaun McShane, Eddie Doyle and Mathew Wilton as well as featherweight Billy Stuart.

In Liverpool, there are 4 scheduled fights.
