If Manchester United goalkeeper Joel Pereira hadn’t heard of Scott Brown until yesterday then he definitely has now, after the Celtic and Scotland captain aimed a few insults at the Portuguese on Instagram.
Pereira is said to have a bright future at United, with Mourinho tipping him to be the ‘future of goalkeeping’ in his homeland, but reputations count for nothing when it comes to Brown.
The common link between the two is former United right-back Saidy Janko, who posted a throwback snap of him and Pereira to wish the keeper a happy 21st birthday – but neither bargained for Brown’s input:
To be fair, Pereira’s face does look quite long in this photo, but nobody’s perfect, Scott!
Brown doesn’t use Twitter anymore, which is a shame – because just imagine the carnage he’d cause on a daily basis.
It might seem like a bit of a harsh comment, especially if Brown doesn’t know Pereira, which we’re assuming he doesn’t.
But if definitely made us chuckle. Never change, Scott. Never change.
