Most Chelsea Fans Determined to See Positives in Eden Hazard Injury

Most Chelsea fans are determined to see the positives in Eden Hazard’s ankle injury.

The Belgian attacker has been ruled out for two to three months after suffering an ankle knock during international training yesterday.

That’s definitely a setback for Antonio Conte and his squad, who only weeks ago won the Premier League title and secured Champions League football for next season.

Hazard could now miss the first game of the new league campaign and, like any injury, there will be worries about his fitness and form whenever he returns.

But most fans appear determined to see the positives in the injury.

For some, it should persuade Chelsea to go and sign quality reinforcements in the final third while, for others, it will cool recent talk of Real Madrid buying Hazard this summer:

Hazard actually spoke last week about how a move to Real Madrid could interest him, but he was enjoying life at Stamford Bridge and had no immediate desire to leave.

Now, with the injury, he’ll probably have no choice in the matter.

Chelsea fans – what’s your reaction to Hazard’s injury?
