After playing a key role in Liverpool’s 2005 Champions League triumph, Hamann will forever be regarded as a legendary figure amongst Reds fans, but that doesn’t mean they’ll agree with his transfer suggestions.
Jurgen Klopp is known to be in the market for a centre-back this summer, and with the saga surrounding Virgil van Dijk apparently at a standstill, Hamann thinks Pepe should be considered:
I'd take Pepe to @LFC in a heartbeat

The Portugal international is out-of-contract at Real Madrid this summer, and expected to leave Spain after winning countless trophies., but despite being a cheap option, it’s not exactly a popular suggestion:
He's a disgraceful player.

No chance Didi. More of a shithouse than Sergio Ramos & nowhere near as good.

Pepe's too much of a Bastard to play for LFC. If ever there was a player who was anti the Liverpool way he is it

Not the dirty real madrid one, how he is even allowed to play football after his antics is beyond me..

Are you high ?

Yep, because if we lack something, its a rash defender with no positional awareness. We dont have enough of that.

We’d say that’s a pretty overwhelming response, eh?
But, surely Pepe would be a good signing, even at 34-years-old? He might be a wind-up merchant and a bit of a, well, cheat at times, but surely he’d improve Liverpool?
What do you think?
