It was expected, given Cummings publicly said that Hibs’ promotion to the Premiership at the end of the season was the realisation of his target for being at the club.
Forest’s interest was no secret and it all made sense considering former Rangers manager Mark Warburton is now boss at the City Ground.
And now the hitman will have to concentrate on getting goals in England after hitting 69 in 148 appearances for the Hibees.
Cummings took to Twitter after completing the deal and wrote:

Cummings will be remembered fondly by Hibs fans for what he brought to the club over four years there.
His missed penalty may have led to the Easter Road club’s relegation in 2014, but he fired them back to the top-flight and entertained everyone off the field through that time too.
So there’s no doubt Cummings will be entertaining at Forest during his time in Nottingham.
