Some Rangers Fans Reckon John Fleck Could Be About to Return to the Club

Rangers are being linked with just about every player in the Western Hemisphere at the moment, and now John Fleck is the latest name to pop up as a potential target.

In case your memory needs refreshing, Fleck actually started his career with the Gers, and was tipped as a potential star by Walter Smith before failing to nail down a first-team spot and heading down south.

Fleck spent four years with cash-strapped Coventry City before joining Sheffield United in 2016.

Still only 25, the central midfielder was voted the best player in England’s League One last season as The Blades won promotion to the English Championship, and even wore the captain’s armband on occasion.

It seems Fleck might finally be living up to his potential, and some Bears on social media are starting whispers that he could be about to return to Ibrox:

There’s a good chance this is just a bit of hearsay, and nothing will come of it, but would Fleck be the kind of player Pedro Caixinha would like?

And would he be welcomed back by Rangers fans?
