More Positives For Rangers as Lee Wallace, Jordan Rossiter and Niko Kranjcar Are Pictured in Training

Rangers got a few more positives this morning as Lee Wallace, Jordan Rossiter and Niko Kranjcar joined in their squad’s first day of pre-season training.

Despite only ending their previous campaign on May 21st with a 2-1 win over St Johnstone, Pedro Caixinha’s men returned to Auchenhowie today for their first day of the new term.

And the majority of the squad reported for duty too, including three players who finished last season out injured.

Captain Wallace is back fit after recovering from an abdominal injury, while Rossiter and Kranjcar have both got over long term injuries to get back on the pitch.

By appearing in training, those three should provide a welcome boost to fans already excited by a number of new additions to the squad over the summer:

Ryan Jack and Bruno Alves have already been added by Caixinha, while Carlos Pena, Eduardo Herrera, Fabio Cardoso and Dalcio are all in negotiations with the club.

Regardless of new signings, Wallace, Rossiter and Kranjcar should still be seen as important members of the first team squad and could play big parts for the team in the coming season.
