Rangers Fans React to News Joe Garner is on the Brink of Leaving the Club

Rangers striker Joe Garner is on the brink of leaving the club tonight, sparking a mixed reaction from supporters on social media.

According to the Daily Record, the 29-year-old who was signed last summer for a fee of £1.8 million from Preston, will join Ipswich Town for a cut-price fee of just £500,000 after failing to win over new manager Pedro Caixinha.

After a difficult start at Ibrox, Garner seemed to win over a faction of the Gers fanbase and became something of a cult figure as he went on to score 10 goals in 37 matches in all competitions.

The news of his departure seems to have split fans on social media:

What do you think of the news? Will Garner be missed at Rangers next season, just as he seemed to have adjusted to Scottish football?

And is this a sign that Pedro Caixinha is trying to take the club in an entirely different direction?
