Romelu Lukaku and Jan Vertonghen have spent the day working in McDonalds in Belgium and, to be honest, we have absolutely no idea why.
The Everton striker and Spurs centre-back are currently with the Belgian national squad ahead of a friendly with the Czech Republic tonight and a crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier against Estonia at the weekend.
But the Red Devils manager Roberto Martinez is obviously looking to develop a closer team spirit within his squad – by getting them the odd shift under the golden arches.
Anybody who worked weekend shifts at McDonalds as a teenager probably didn’t enjoy one minute of it, but Romelu and Jan look pretty happy during their impromptu visit today:
Lets just hope they don’t get any orders wrong, eh?
Maybe we should get other Premier League stars to carry out similar jobs; Zlatan working in Burger King, perhaps?
What do you think?
