Video: Alexis Sanchez Breaks Chile’s All-Time Goal Record Against Germany

Alexis Sanchez reminded Arsenal fans exactly what they’ll be missing out on if he leaves this summer as the forward broke Chile’s all-time goal-scoring record this evening.

The 28-year-old is currently with his national team taking part in the Confederations Cup in Russia, despite a gruelling campaign in Europe and domestically with Arsenal.

You’d think with rumour and counter-rumour doing the rounds on social media about his future every day that he might be slightly put off his game, but Sanchez showed absolutely no sign of being distracted against world champions Germany:

Not a bad finish, eh?

And you can tell it means a lot to him, as his 38th goal wearing Chile’s red means he now overtakes former Juventus striker Marcelo Salas in the scoring charts.

We’re no experts, but we’re willing to bet there’s a few more international goals on the way for Sanchez.

But where will he be playing club football next season?
