Alfredo Morelos is the latest player to be linked with a move to Rangers – and he looks quality.
The Colombian attacker, 20, is reportedly interesting Gers manager Pedro Caixinha, who is busy strengthening his squad ahead of the new season.
He’s already added Ryan Jack, Bruno Alves, Dalcio and Fabio Cardoso while Carlos Pena and Eduardo Herrera are expected to follow soon.
HJK Helsinki striker Morelos is now thought to be next on the wishlist, with his strong form throughout the last two seasons having impressed Caixinha.
A quick look at his statistics suggests he’s a talent, scoring 30 goals in 43 games during his first season in Finland and following that up with 16 in 19 games throughout his second.
But his YouTube highlight reel makes him look special too:
Morelos is undoubtedly Helsinki’s star player and was awarded the best striker award in the Finnish league last season.
So how much would he be worth to HJK? And would it be out of Rangers’ price range?
Rangers lack a clinical striker and, based on his form, Morelos looks like he could be the right man to lead the line for the Ibrox side next season.
