Video: Antoine Griezmann Refuses to Congratulate Raphaël Varane on Champions League Win

He might be a Manchester United target but Antoine Griezmann has shown he’s Atletico Madrid through and through today by refusing to congratulate Raphaël Varane on Real Madrid’s Champions League triumph.

The pair are currently with the France national squad ahead of the weekend’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Sweden, which will be played one week after Varane played in Real’s 4-1 Champions League final win over Juventus.

The centre-back was greeted by his international colleagues as a hero as he met up with the squad today but Griezmann looked a little less happy to see him – and refused to congratulate him.

In the clip below, the striker not only avoids shaking Varane’s hand, but also manages to avoid clapping for him too:

After a difficult few weeks, we’re sure this little video will warm the hearts of every single Atletico Madrid fan in the world.

Well played, Antoine. Well played indeed.
