Cristiano Ronaldo put all of the recent speculation behind him this afternoon by bagging a trademark headed goal against Russia in the Confederations Cup.
Unless you’ve been on the moon for the last few days, you’ll know by now that various reports in the UK and in Siberia have claimed the Real Madrid superstar wants to leave Los Blancos this summer, with Manchester United linked with buying him back.
But all of the background noise doesn’t seem to be putting the 32-year-old off his game.
He provided a brilliant assist in Portugal’s opening match of the tournament against Mexico, and today he found the net himself after lurking at the back post:

Amazingly, that’s Ronaldo’s 74th international goal, and we’d probably be willing to bet there’s a few more on the way.
