Video: Hearts Fan Asks His Amazon Alexa Why Kyle Lafferty Snubbed Hibs

A cheeky Hearts fan has waded into the Kyle Lafferty transfer saga by asking his Amazon Alexa why the striker chose to snub Edinburgh rivals Hibs.

Ex-Rangers striker Lafferty was released by Championship side Norwich City at the end of last season and signed for the Jambos yesterday afternoon in a massive coup for Ian Cathro’s side.

However, the Northern Irishman has been heavily criticised for snubbing Hibs manager Neil Lennon, as he reportedly organised a meeting with the Easter Road side but failed to turn up.

Lafferty has since been quizzed by the media over his decision to sign with Hearts, with the front man claiming he has joined the “third” biggest team in Scotland.

Although that answer clearly wasn’t enough for Hearts fan @dickerboy.

Instead, he chose to ask his Amazon Alexa, an “intelligent personal assistant” developed by Amazon which is capable of voice interaction:

The video is sure to get under the skin of Hibs supporters.

We expect the first Edinburgh derby of the season to be an incredibly tasty one…
