Paul Pogba and Gary Cahill should be an interesting battle next season in the Premier League after the Manchester United star absolutely ruined the Chelsea defender this evening.
The French midfielder was representing his native France during their end of season friendly against England this evening and, in phases, showed exactly why United forked out almost £90million for his services.
The 24-year-old was outstanding during the 3-2 victory against Gareth Southgate’s men and summed up his performance when he sent Cahill for an early retirement.

The result will be a blow for the Three Lions – who only managed a 2-2 draw against rivals Scotland on Saturday – after taking the lead within 10 minutes, Harry Kane slotting home past Tottenham team-mate Hugo Lloris.
The home side then pulled it back with defensive duo Samuel Umtiti and Djibril Sidibe making it 2-1 at the break.
But England were handed a lifeline after Raphael Varane tripped up Dele Alli in the box and the referee pointed to the spot, sending the Frenchman off at the same time with video replays deeming the Real Madrid star to be last man.
However, Southgate’s side could not take advantage and France grabbed a well deserved win with Ousmane Dembele firing home the winner.
