Liga MX reporter Tom Marshall has analysed incoming Rangers signing Carlos Pena – and it should make some interesting viewing for the club’s supporters.
Images have appeared of Pena at an airport this afternoon, as the Mexico international looks set to be unveiled as Pedro Caixinha’s third summer signing in the next few hours.

However, with the 27-year-old having spent the entirety of his playing career in his homeland, most Gers fans aren’t sure what to make of the player who will seemingly follow Bruno Alves and Ryan Jack through the entrance of Ibrox.
Yet, thanks to Marshall, there is now a clear review of the sort of player Rangers will be getting in Pena, who is described as “very direct” and a “real workhorse.”

The only worrying aspect of Marshall’s video would be Pena’s failure to recapture the sort of form he showed at the 2014 World Cup.
However, it also appears that Pena has bags of talent at his disposal, especially as Mexico manager Juan Carlos Osorio rates him highly.
