We played Scotland against England on FIFA 17 earlier – and it didn’t end well for the Tartan Army.
Gordon Strachan’s men take on their Auld Enemy rivals at Hampden tomorrow evening hoping to get a victory which would breathe life into their World Cup qualifying campaign.
Scotland sit fourth in their group, six points behind England, two behind Slovakia and one behind Slovenia – so a win tomorrow would be huge going into the second half of fixtures.
There’s no doubting it’ll be a tough game given the quality in Gareth Southgate’s team and the gulf between the sides in England’s 3-0 win over Scotland at Wembley last year.
But there’s not that much of a difference on FIFA 17 – as we found out earlier.
Unfortunately, the PS4 game doesn’t have the updated Scotland squad so we were without a number of stars, including Stuart Armstrong, Charlie Mulgrew, Ryan Fraser and Tom Cairney.
This is how it turned out:
Is it any surprise that game turned out in the most Scottish way? Hopefully it doesn’t go that way tomorrow night and we could hold out for a win.
