With legendary players from Barcelona and Manchester United squaring off at the Camp Nou tonight, it was only a matter of time before Ronaldinho stole the show.
And while United secured a 3-1 victory at the home of the La Liga giants, the former Brazil international still showed that the age-old statement is very true – ‘form is temporary, class is permanent.’
Ronaldinho spent five-years wowing the crowd at the Nou Camp and it appears little has changed, even with the 37-year-old embracing his retirement.
Jesper Blomqvist handed the visitor’s legendary XI the advantage after 13 minutes, while Karel Poborský and Dwight Yorke also managed to get on the score sheet, before Frédéric Déhu scored a consolation.
But even the scoreline couldn’t stop Ronaldinho from running riot with some exquisite touches as he lost his Blomqvist in midfield.

Tonight’s game is all in aid of the Pediatric Cancer Centre in Barcelona, a specialist hospital which provides cancer treatment to children in Catalonia.
