Video: Stunning Saúl Ñíguez Hat-Trick Puts Spain into U21 Euro Final

Spain reached the final of the Under-21’s European Championships tonight and will face Germany on Friday – and they had Atletico Madrid‘s Saúl Ñíguez to thank for three outstanding goals.

The 22-year-old has been a crucial member of Atletico’s side which has constantly achieved success in the Champions League, and started the 2016 final against city rivals Real.

So, it’s no real surprise that he’s dominating a junior tournament, with his third, fourth and fifth goals against Italy this evening making him the competition’s outright top-scorer with five in total.

The first and third strikes were impressive in terms of control and precision, but the second was just an out-and-out left-footed rocket:

When you watch him purring like this, it’s hard not to imagine that one of the continent’s biggest superpower clubs will be bidding for him soon.

What do you think of the goals? And how highly do you rate Saul?
