Video: Tom Rogic Scores Lovely Volley For Australia v Germany

Tom Rogic scored a lovely volley for Australia against Germany this afternoon.

The Celtic attacker was named in the starting XI for his country’s Confederations Cup opener against the Germans in Russia.

And he popped up with a great goal to get the Socceroos back on level terms after going behind to Lars Stindl’s goal earlier in the game.

Finding space in midfield, Rogic blasted a shot off a German defender before volleying the rebound home beyond Bernd Leno:

Unfortunately for Rogic and Australia, they couldn’t stay level with Germany for long, with Julian Draxler hitting home from the penalty spot just three minutes later after Massimo Luongo brought down Leon Goretzka in the box.
