Celtic Fan Shares Heart-Warming Story About Meeting Kieran Tierney at UFC Glasgow

Celtic defender Kieran Tierney was on top form at UFC Glasgow last night, with one Hoops fan sharing a brilliant story involving the 20-year-old.

The Scotland international was in attendance as the Ultimate Fighting Championship rocked up at the SSE Hydro.

And it didn’t take long for fight fans to recognise the Celtic star among the capacity crowd, as @topbhoy_67 revealed in a heart-warming Twitter message.

Despite being hounded between each scheduled fight, Tierney reportedly made the effort to greet each supporter and pose for pictures – despite allegedly being heckled by Rangers fans in the audience.

If this is an accurate account of what happened, we take our hats off to you Mr. Tierney:

Tierney cemented his status as a fan-favourite at Celtic Park last season, as part of Brendan Rodgers’ side which delivered a clean-sweep of domestic honours.

Needless to say, his form on the pitch coupled with his flawless attitude off it make him one of Celtic’s most important stars heading into next season.
