Brendan Rodgers gave fans their first glimpse of the pair in competitive action this evening in the second leg of their Champions League second round qualifier at home to the Northern Irish champions.
Both had already turned out at Parkhead going into the match, with Ntcham and Benyu starting in a friendly against Lyon at the weekend.
But tonight was their first competitive appearance – and it went well as the Frenchman started and played a strong 66 minutes before the young English winger came on for a very impressive cameo.
Celtic fans didn’t take long to recognise the talent of their new pair and took to Twitter to heap praise on both:
Celtic won the game 4-0 on the night thanks to a Scott Sinclair double and goals from Tom Rogic and Stuart Armstrong.
They’ll now play against Rosenborg in the next round after the Norwegian side beat Dundalk 2-1 after extra time in their qualifier tonight.
