Celtic Fans Seem Mixed on Prospect of Tom Rogic Playing Up Front v Rosenborg

Celtic fans seem mixed on the prospect of Tom Rogic playing up front against Rosenborg tonight.

The Hoops will welcome the Norwegian giants to Celtic Park later hoping to get a big result in their Champions League third qualifying round first leg match.

It’s already a tough task given Rosenborg are Norwegian champions and are usually strong in Europe.

But it’ll be made even harder with the absence of Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths in the starting XI for the hosts.

According to reports, Brendan Rodgers will cope with missing his two star strikers by deploying Australian midfielder Rogic in a false nine position.

That’s something fans don’t quite know what to think of:

So opinion on Rogic as the false nine is split – but fans won’t care if he helps them beat Rosenborg and take a healthy lead into next week’s second leg in Norway.

It looks like Kristoffer Ajer could also be included in tonight’s team, replacing Erik Sviatchenko at centre back.

Celtic fans – what will your team be?
