Celtic Fans Split on Stuart Armstrong Amid More Speculation on His Future

Celtic fans appear split on Stuart Armstrong amid more speculation surrounding his future.

The Scottish midfielder is just off the back of his best ever season in football, becoming a regular for his club during a historic unbeaten domestic season.

He also earned Scotland recognition during the campaign too, establishing himself as one of Gordon Strachan’s top players after scoring 17 goals and making seven assists for the Hoops.

So it’s no surprise that there’s speculation surrounding Armstrong’s future – even if it’s earlier than expected.

He’s going into the final season of his Celtic contract and reports earlier this week said there’s a stand-off between the club and Armstrong’s representatives with regards to a new contract.

But, for some reason, the talk around Armstrong has resurfaced today and fans are split on what the future holds for the former Dundee United man:

Celtic signed Olivier Ntcham earlier this week and it’s thought he’ll either rival Armstrong or play alongside him this season.

The Frenchman is a £4.5million signing from Manchester City and will undoubtedly play so maybe Armstrong going isn’t such a bad thing?

Fans – what do you think?
