Cillian Sheridan Follows Si Ferry and Tony Watt in Becoming Online Creator With His New Podcast

Cillian Sheridan Follows Si Ferry and Tony Watt in Becoming Online Creator With His New Podcast

Cillian Sheridan has followed Si Ferry and Tony Watt in becoming an online creator after launching his own new podcast.

The Jagiellonia Białystok striker is well known to Scottish football fans after his spells with Celtic, Motherwell, St Johnstone and Kilmarnock earlier in his career.

He’s been out of Scotland for the last four years, playing for APOEL FC, Omonia and now Jagiellonia.

And, at 28, Sheridan has decided to branch out from his football career and launch his own podcast, offering fans an insight into his life in Poland.

The Irishman opens his podcast up by saying he took inspiration from some players he knows well, including Hull’s David Meyler, who is a popular FIFA YouTuber, former Celtic team-mate Ferry, who produces his own brilliant ‘Si Ferry Meets’ interviews with players, and Watt, who has launched his own movie review website.

It’s interesting to see Sheridan join them in being creative outwith the game, continuing a trend of players building on their fame by offering more to their social following. Sheridan currently has over 10,000 Instagram followers and has over 23,000 followers on Twitter.

He’s followed up his opening podcast by publishing a second on SoundCloud and you can hear both right here.
