David De Gea Gets More Cool Points By Showing He’s a Game of Thrones Fan

David de Gea is one of the best goalkeepers in the world – and arguably one of the coolest too.

His slicked back hair, decent beard and relaxed playing style make him a pretty cool guy to look at. You get the impression he’s chilled out too.

But he got more cool points this afternoon by being pictured alongside Conleth Hill and Iain Glen while in America on United’s tour.

Those two names probably won’t mean anything to you. Varys and Jorah Mormont will though.

De Gea caught up with the two actors who play the popular Game of Thrones characters and made sure to post a picture to Instagram along with a Manchester United caption:

De Gea for a cameo in Game of Thrones in the final season?

The hugely popular HBO show will hit television screens around the world again next Monday with fans able to see Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen and the rest of their favourites characters cope with winter coming.

De Gea, on the other hand, will be with United on their pre-season tour of the UK – kicking off their first game against LA Galaxy on Sunday.
