Fan Sends Rangers Hall of Fame Book to New Mexico Library After Twitter Mix-Up

A Rangers fan sent his club’s official Hall of Fame book to a New Mexico library after a Twitter mix-up confirmed they don’t have any football books.

It all started with a tweet about Rangers being stripped of the titles they won during the years EBTs were used to help pay players at Ibrox.

But it quickly turned into something quite funny after the Santa Fe Library in New Mexico was mistakenly tagged in the tweet.

Instead of the SPFL’s official Twitter (@spfl) being tagged, the Santa Fe Library (@sfpl) was tagged – and they were only too happy to clarify the mistake:

They then clarified that they don’t actually have any soccer books in their library:

But Rangers fan Rob McDougall decided to fix that – ordering the official Rangers Hall of Fame book from Amazon to be shipped straight to the library 4600 miles away from Glasgow:

Fair play to Rob for doing his bit to enlighten the Santa Fe people about Rangers and the club’s history.
