Fans Hail Andy Robertson’s Meteoric Rise On Twitter As He Completes Liverpool Move

Andy Robertson has today completed his move to Liverpool.

The Anfield club announced the signing of the Scotland international this afternoon, believed to be in the £8million region.

And at the age of just 23, it marks the next chapter in the left-back’s meteoric rise in football.

In his first interview as a Liverpool player, Robertson described the move as a “dream come true”.

Robertson’s switch to Merseyside is a real fairytale story which began in the bottom tier of Scottish football.

A top flight move to Dundee United and an international call-up would soon culminate in big-spending Premier League sides knocking on the door.

In just three seasons down south, Robertson has notched almost 100 top flight appearances and established himself as a fully-fledged Scotland regular.

We told how his move to Anfield sees him one year ahead of an incredible prediction he made for himself back in 2013 while at Queen’s Park.

And fans on social media have taken to Twitter to congratulate the new LFC defender on his incredible rise up the leagues, with some viewing him as the ideal man to replace James Milner.

Jurgen Klopp’s side continue their pre-season preparations against Leicester City in the Premier League Asia Trophy final on Saturday.
