At least 80 people are believed to have died after the huge fire engulfed a west London tower block on June 14.
And before taking part in this summer’s European Under-21 Championship, Bellerin told his followers on Twitter that for every minute he played in the competition, he would donate £50 to help the Grenfell victims.
Bellerin was of course part of the Spain squad which made it all the way to the final in Poland, only to be beaten 1-0 by a talented Germany side.
However, with Bellerin playing every match on the road to the final, the 23-year-old was able to raise an impressive £19,050 during the tournament – a figure he revealed on social media yesterday afternoon:

As you would expect, Bellerin has received major plaudits for this kind deed.
In fact, the Gunners star has even inspired Lineker to dig into his pockets, as the former England international confirmed that he would match Bellerin’s donation:

Well done, boys.
