The Madrid man is on the lookout for first team football after spending the majority of last season playing back-up to Karim Benzema.
And it looks like he’s going to get it after the Stamford Bridge club announced that they had agreed a transfer fee with the European champions.
They confirmed that news on chelseafc.com, writing: “Chelsea Football Club and Real Madrid have agreed terms for the transfer of Alvaro Morata to Stamford Bridge. The move is now subject to him agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.”
And those personal terms and that medical shouldn’t be too much of an issue – so his soon-to-be former teammates have started wishing him well with the move.
Isco took to Instagram and wrote:
That caption is translate to: “Brother you’re leaving again. I’m going to miss you a lot! I hope you’re happy and find what you deserve! I love you.”
So it’s only a matter of time before Chelsea announce that Morata has completed his move to the English Premier League champions if the fee being agreed and the goodbyes are anything to by.
