Manchester United Fans Have Mixed Emotions After Adnan Januzaj Exit

Manchester United fans have mixed emotions after Adnan Januzaj’s exit to Real Sociedad was confirmed.

The Belgian winger didn’t kick a ball for the club last season and instead spent it out on loan and you have to go back more than a year for the last time he pulled on a United jersey in a competitive game.

Jose Mourinho obviously didn’t fancy him from the outset and, after last season’s loan, the Portuguese manager has decided to ship him out permanently after the club agreed an estimated £9.8million deal with Sociedad.

But despite the lack of form over the last two years, fans still seem a little cut up about Januzaj leaving.

While others are well aware that he hadn’t done enough since bursting on to the first team scene in 2013, some believe it’s been a wise move from United to reportedly insert a buy back clause in the transfer:

Januzaj leaves United after scoring just five goals in 68 appearances for the club – two of which memorably came on his first full start against Sunderland in the Premier League.

United fans – are you sad to see Januzaj go?
