Undoubtedly one of Tottenham‘s biggest transfer flops of modern times, Paulinho looks to be on the verge of an extraordinary transfer to the Nou Camp, with the La Liga giants having a £17.5 million bid rejected by his current club Guangzhou Evergrande, as per the Mirror and various other news outlets.
Paulinho was signed by Tottenham amidst great fanfare back in 2013 for a fee of around £17 million, as we’ve told you previously, has also been linked with Bayern Munich this summer, having spent the last two seasons earning a small fortune in the Chinese Super League.
British football fans are struggling to digest the fact that Paulinho might be Andres Iniesta’s new midfield partner:
Guangzhou rejected Barça's offer for Paulinho. Their president is probably a Barça fan and he was like "we gotta stop this shit fam"

What do you make of the move?
Was Paulinho really that bad in north London? And is there any way could he do a job for Barca?
