Barcelona are chasing Spurs flop Paulinho – and pretty much anybody who saw the Brazilian play in England is struggling to come to terms with the news.
Undoubtedly one of Tottenham‘s biggest transfer flops of modern times, Paulinho looks to be on the verge of an extraordinary transfer to the Nou Camp, with the La Liga giants having a £17.5 million bid rejected by his current club Guangzhou Evergrande, as per the Mirror and various other news outlets.
Paulinho was signed by Tottenham amidst great fanfare back in 2013 for a fee of around £17 million, as we’ve told you previously, has also been linked with Bayern Munich this summer, having spent the last two seasons earning a small fortune in the Chinese Super League.
British football fans are struggling to digest the fact that Paulinho might be Andres Iniesta’s new midfield partner:
