Pedro Caixinha After 1-0 Loss to St Johnstone: We Know Goals Will Appear

Pedro Caixinha insists goals will appear for Rangers after they lost 1-0 to St Johnstone this afternoon.

The Portuguese manager put his side through their paces again today as they continue on a pre-season schedule that was thrown together last minute after the team’s early Europa League exit.

Tommy Wright’s Saints were the opponents as they too suffered an early Europa League exit at the hands of FK Trakai of Lithuania.

And it was the visitors to Auchenhowie who ran out as winners, with Callum Hendry hitting the only goal of the game.

Rangers fans wouldn’t have liked hearing their team losing another game, but Caixinha seemed positive post-match as he reflected on the performance.

He insists there was much for him to like and the goals will eventually come for his team:

Rangers will next be in action against Marseille at Ibrox this weekend before facing Sheffield Wednesday a week later in their final friendly before the Premiership season kicks off on August 6th.
