Rangers Goalie Liam Kelly Says Sorry to Fans After His Snapchat

Rangers goalkeeper Liam Kelly has said sorry to fans after his video from inside the team bus last night.

The number three goalie wasn’t involved in the squad for the embarrassing Europa League defeat to Progres Niederkorn in Luxembourg.

Pedro Caixinha’s men travelled to Progres with a 1-0 advantage after last week’s win at Ibrox, but they were unable to build on that and exited the competition in the first round after goals from Sebastian Thill and Emmanuel Francoise for the hosts.

Fans were understandably fuming after the game, with some of those in Luxembourg targeting the team bus as it left the stadium.

Kelly was on board the bus and posted to his Snapchat the following video:

Supporters on social media aren’t happy with the 21-year-old goalie posting that and were quick to tell him.

That’s led to Kelly taking to Twitter to apologise in a number of tweets:

Rangers fans are understandably angry after last night’s performance and result, but will Kelly’s apology be accepted by those who made the long trip to Luxembourg?

The goalkeeper hasn’t made a first team appearance for Rangers, spending time out on loan with East Fife and Livingston over the last two seasons.
