Fans wondering which squad number Romelu Lukaku will be wearing at Manchester United next season might not have to wonder much longer, after retailers Kitbag appeared to leak his new shirt.
The Belgian striker is closing on a move to Old Trafford after he confirmed yesterday that he’d be moving to United, rather than Chelsea, in a deal thought to be worth in excess of £75 million.
At previous club Everton, Lukaku had always worn the No.10 jersey, and that shirt has just been vacated by the departure of Wayne Rooney.
But also available are the No.7 and No.9 shirts – two other high-profile and prestigious squad numbers in the long and illustrious history of Manchester United.

Of course, we should always point out that we don’t know anything for definite – but as one of the world’s largest football shirt providers and manufacturers, you’d imagine they’d have some sort of insight – right?
What do you think?
