Andy Robertson insists his move to Liverpool this afternoon feels surreal – but it’s a dream come true.
The Scottish left-back has finally been confirmed as Jurgen Klopp’s newest signing, completing an £8million move from Hull City.
It should put an end to years of misery for Reds fans with different left-backs who haven’t been up to the standard.
Robertson is Premier League and international quality – and should go straight into the Liverpool team at the start of the season.
But he can’t quite believe that the move has even happened, sharing that it all feels a bit surreal.
In his first interview since signing on the dotted line at Anfield, Robertson said:
"A dream come true."

It caps a meteoric rise to the top of the game for Robertson, who just four years ago was turning out for part-timers Queen’s Park in the Scottish bottom tier.
He’s played for Dundee United and then Hull since then, all while becoming an international with Scotland.
Now Robertson will go about helping the Reds challenge for the English Premier League and compete in the Champions League this season – a level he undoubtedly should be able to cope with.
