Naby Keita dished out some payback to RB Leipzig teammate Diego Demme after he was smashed in training today.

The Liverpool target was reportedly told to apologise to Demme after hitting him with a heavy tackle that forced training to be ended early.

But no one knew the full story of the incident until footage emerged of Keita’s tackle – and the bad challenge from Demme just moments earlier that led to his teammate’s strong reaction.

As you can see, it’s Keita who gets hit with the hard challenge first by Demme, but he gets back up and on with things.

The Guinean is then seen scything down his teammate just moments later leading to the German midfielder staying down and requiring treatment from the medical team.

And some of the other Leipzig players didn’t look very happy with Keita before they were told to walk off.

Should Keita be taking the blame for the incident? His tackle is bad, but Demme’s challenge isn’t nice either and he must count himself lucky that neither picked up a serious injury.
