Video: Game of Thrones Actors Compare Romelu Lukaku to The Mountain and The Hound

Games of Thrones actors Conleth Hill and Iain Glen insist Romelu Lukaku is the one Manchester United player capable of surviving in the show.

Hill plays Varys while Glen portrays Jorah Mormont – two very popular characters within the HBO show.

They’re in Los Angeles along with the rest of the Thrones crew ahead of the premiere of season seven, which hits television screens on July 17th.

And as they’re both big United fans, Hill and Glen dropped in on United’s training session in the US city yesterday.

Given the worldwide popularity of Game of Thrones, the United players were very excited to see the actors in attendance and made sure to get some pictures.

MUTV also caught up with the pair and they told how Lukaku would be their choice to survive in Game of Thrones as he’s a mix of characters The Mountain and The Hound:

Hopefully we see some United players turn up to the show premiere later tonight.

United kick off their pre-season campaign against Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday before going on to play Real Salt Lake, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona throughout the rest of their US tour.
