Video: Hector Bellerin Teases Shkodran Mustafi Over Failed Backflip

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has taken a swipe at teammate Shkodran Mustafi after the German posted a hysterical failed attempt at a backflip.

Bellerin and Mustafi have been granted extended leave by Arsene Wenger, after the pair spent most of the summer playing in the European Under-21 Championship and the Confederations Cup, respectively.

And it appears both players are having a ball, while the rest of the Arsenal squad are in Australia for pre-season.

Two days ago, ex-Valencia defender Mustafi uploaded this video of him attempting a backflip off of a boat, only to fluff his lines when it came to the landing:

Bellerin was clearly watching too, as he posted this reply earlier this afternoon, claiming he’d teach the 25-year-old how it’s really done:

Interestingly, the Spain right back adds, “let me teach you when I’m back bro.”

This would indicate that the 23-year-old is set to return to Arsenal after his vacation, implying a move to Barcelona won’t materialise despite the La Liga giants’ best attempts.

So good news all round for Arsenal fans…

Unless either player picked up a knock while jumping off these boats, that is…
